Shipment Spotlight - May 23

Hey Kingsters! We're gearing up for this week's shipment, and boy-o-boy do we have some rad stuff for you this week! From Disney Figures, to a Play Arts Kai Nathan Drake Action Figure, to some amazing trades, hardcovers, and an Absolute Batman: Dark Victory HC, to some awesome singles!
So to help you out we're going to go all Commissioner Gordon and whip out our Bat Signal to shine a spotlight on some featured products this week!

So first up a must have for any Mass Effect Fan. Four, that's right FOUR Action Figures for you to romance, or not, because you need to save the universe without the distraction of love. Wow, you're as cold as space, aren't you? Anyway, we're getting in Miranda, Mordin, Legion, and everyone's main man Garrus. Each character includes updated photos, character bio, storyline, and logo, and is packaged with Mass Effect 3 branding. They also contain a code that can be redeemed for bonus content for Mass Effect 3 multi-player that will help you save the universe against those pesky, good for nothing Reapers. Those Jerks. At $26.95 can you really NOT afford to have these?

This week we got something a little different from Marvel for those avid young readers who haven't yet made that daunting leap into the wonderful world of comics. Marvel's Amazing Spider-Man Young Readers Vol 1 is a great first step for a young Adult who wants to read some Spider-Man but doesn't want to pick up a comicy book (for some odd reason?). This prose novel re-tells the story we all know and love of young Peter Parker gaining spider powers and learning that with great power also comes great responsibility. You, Kingsters have the responsibility to pick this up and encourage some young readers! Excelsior!

Next up; one title from the second wave of DC's New 52 that everyone here in the store is looking forward to. Grant Morrison's Batman Incorporated Vol 2 #1 jumps on directly where last year's one shot Leviathan Strikes left us. According to Batman group editor Mike Marts; "Grant Morrison's new Batman Incorporated series is the final, unbelievable act of a saga six years in the making. Along with his artistic partner-in-crime Chris Burnham, Grant delivers twists, turns, punches and reveals no reader will see coming." This is the title you deserve, but you might not need now. So you'll buy it, because we can take it.

Also from the Batman Camp The Absolute Dark Victory HC. From writer Jeph Loeb and artist Tim Sale Batman: Dark Victory collects 13 issues of the epic that started in The Long Halloween. This massive edition includes; interviews with the creators, new pages placed back into the story where they originally belong, art, sketches, and scripts. A must have for any fan of Loeb's or Sale's work. For me personally this is one of my favourite Batman books. The art, story, everything, is exactly what I like from a Batman title. If you pick up anything this week, I would highly, highly recommend this huge edition from DC.
