Shipment Spotlight - 1 August
Kingsters, allow me to paraphrase my friend and colleague Bane "When the shipment is in store, I give you permission to come in and buy some stuff!" Obviously I took some liberties there with that quote, but what are you going to do? I know Bane! This week is full of some great books and merch, and you should definitely be jumping online or coming in store to get your greedy little fingers on all this tremendous stuff!
There are a few number ones this week that should be mentioned first - because they're number ones - got it? Good! Neal Adams returns to some good old fashioned mutant madness in The First X-Men; this gives us a little insight into the secret history of the muties before they joined up with Xavier.
The Avenger that no one thought would be popular is out to prove himself as one of earth's mightiest in Matt Fraction's Hawkeye Vol 4.
From AJ Lieberman (the author of Cowboy Ninja Viking) comes Harvest. Described as Dexter, ER and 100 Bullets had a three-way and that mind blowing tryst somehow resulted in a kid, that kid would read this.
When a military think tank's smartest scientist decides he can no longer stomach creating weapons of destruction, will he be able to think his way out of his dilemma or will he find himself subject of a bigger conspiracy? Think Tank is the story of a man fighting the man, with science!
Feeling a little like Warren Ellis' crossed is Infected; The saga of a mysterious disease that turns ordinary people into paranoid, raving murderers.
Play Arts releases some awesome action figures and when they team up with Square Enix, Oh Boy! When all three hang out with Batman - Take my money! Both Batman Armoured and Harley Quinn come with interchangeable hands and their trademark weapons and accessories. The Play Arts Kai figures have 26 points of articulation, which means you can pose them in pretty much any position you could think of. No! Grose! Don't do that with Batman!
Also from Square Enix and Play Arts Kai is the new Halo 4 based action figure. Red, Blue or Olympic Gold (Yay OLYMPICS!), 9' tall, rocket launcher, and built straight from the CGI files of Halo 4. This Spartan Action Figure is a must have!
MiniMates are so radically cute! I hate them though - they take all my hard earned dollarie-doos! This new series will be no different *sigh*. The Marvel Vs Capcom MiniMates come in a bunch of different character packs and you'll deffintley want to get in quick for these, as they go like hot cakes! I love hot cakes!
Remember that issue of Thor when the Thunder God turned into a Rock God? Not like a god of rocks, I mean a God that rocks! Like "WOO! ROCK ON! Boo to the man!" and what not. No? I don't remember it either, because I made it up - Though there has been a goth kid hanging with Thor in the last couple of issues of 'mighty'. Any way I'll get to the point. Thor Guitar! Awe-inspiring! You'll want to jam on this till your hands get 'thor'.
As with every other week's shipment make sure you get in quick! All these titles, and all this wonderful merch will be popular, and they will all be sure to sell! If you have a standing order, shoot us an e-mail to let us know you want something added, if you're not a standing order customer, jump on one of the links and order through the site. You can e-mail us at info@kingscomics.com or find us on facebook and twitter.
